Today is the DayJan 14th 2011 GBL2011 starts today... I've got my walk route mapped for 5.35 miles, my TAE BO & Pilates for Wimps DVDs ready and some slack motivation. So I decided I should list my reasons for WHY I NEED to do this NOW. Because I want to feel comfortable in my own skin, and NOT just by buying larger size clothes to make it look better. I don't want to look at the alien flab hanging around my middle that gets tucked in to 'tummy flattening jeans' - I want it GONE. I want to get in the pool this summer. I want to look like the Trophy Wife I was always meant to be. I want to be MYSELF again, no longer hiding under this disguise of stress eating, soda addiction and baby-weight that has accumulated over the past three years. I'm sure I will think of more reasons later. Go ME! |
Good News - Bad NewsJan 14th 2011 Okay - my fancy, schmancy new bathroom scale arrived the other day. It's pretty 21st Century. It weighs you, and electrodes you to figure bone mass, water, muscle and fat percentages. The good news is, I'm NOT as overweight as I thought (I was figuring in the 50+ range). The bad news: I'm still overweight. Though, I didn't need a scale to tell me THAT. |
